This two-day course focuses on commissioning HVAC systems in BSL3 laboratories and vivariums. The Commissioning Process for building construction projects is a quality control process to document, test and verify that building systems meet the facility owner's functional, operational and performance requirements. This process is essential in the construction of today's biocontainment laboratories due to the requirements for life safety and reliable environmental control and monitoring. This is a highly focused class with a limited class size. Participants will be able to: - develop a formal commissioning process
- explain industry standards relevant to biocontainment
- generate and critique commissioning documents
- test and verify system accuracy
- track commissioning issues to resolution
