Introduction to Certification Workshop

This half-day workshop will expand on the knowledge gained from our Safety Cabinet Technology course by reinforcing the information with additional hands-on practice. Participants will have the opportunity to perform airflow and HEPA leak tests as oulined by NSF/ANSI 49-2004a Standard. In addition, they will be instructed in balancing cabinets, repairing leaks, and trouble-shooting techniques.

You will go through the complete process of certifying a cabinet from start to finish. You will also receive extensive feedback on your testing techniques to help improve your overall efficiency.

We invite you to bring your own equipment for special instruction on how best to utilize your equipment during testing.

Who is this course for?

Certifiers, Industrial Hygienists, and Biosafety Officers

Prerequisites:

Participants must have taken The Eagleson Institute Safety Cabinet Technology Seminar.

Instructors:

Ron Gingras, Engineering Technician, The Baker Company, is the lead instructor. Ron is an NSF Accredited Certifier, and will be joined by other Eagleson Institute instructors who are NSF Accredited Certifiers.

Tuition (2007)

Tuition is $175 per person and must be paid in full to guarantee a space in this class. Tuition includes lunch and an Eagleson Institute Certificate.

Individuals who attend both the Introduction to Certification Workshop and the ASHRAE 110 Testing Workshop will receive a $75 discount.
