BIOGRAPHY
Katie Knapek is a clinical veterinarian with the USDA and a dedicated member of the planning committee for this collaborative workshop. She brings extensive expertise in infectious disease study models and operational strategies. She is supported by multiple publications in her field. Katie holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), two Master’s degrees in Microbiology, Immunology, and Pathology, and is board-certified as a Diplomate of the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (DACLAM) and by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). Passionate about continual learning and driven by a strong work ethic. Her commitment to advancing research and fostering collaboration makes her an invaluable contributor to the scientific community.
